  • famitsumho2026Unconfirmed 2,000 Zenny, 3 Energy Drinks, 3 Mega Potions, 3 Antidotes · listed by Destructoid, TwinfiniteListed by Destructoid and its sister site Twinfinite only, so we count it as one source. Game8 and mhoutlanders.wiki do not list it yet.

“Working” means at least two independent trackers list the code as active. “Unconfirmed” codes have one listing so far; try them anyway, a failed code costs nothing. No code has been reported expired yet.

How to redeem codes in Monster Hunter Outlanders

The game has no web redemption page that any tracker has found, so everything happens in the client. The only real hurdle is the rank gate: new accounts can’t see the CDKey screen until the tutorial story is done.

  1. Reach Adventure Rank 5. Play the opening story until you hit Adventure Rank 5. The Event Center, and code redemption with it, stays locked before that.
  2. Open the Event Center. Tap the Event Center button at the top of the main screen.
  3. Open the CDKey Redemption tab. Destructoid says it is the second button in the Event Center menu; Game8 calls it the announcement icon. Either way you land on CDKey Redemption.
  4. Enter the code and confirm. Paste or type the code exactly as listed, in lowercase, and tap Confirm.
  5. Collect the rewards from your mailbox. Rewards are sent to your in-game mail, not straight to your inventory. Open the mailbox and claim them.

Clashiverse describes a different route (Avatar icon, then Codes, then Exchange). Three other trackers describe the Event Center path above, so we treat the Avatar route as unconfirmed.

MHO codes not working? Check these five things

When Monster Hunter Outlanders codes fail, it is usually for one of the reasons below. Go through them in order before assuming a code is dead.

What every Outlanders code is worth in pulls

Only one of the current Monster Hunter Outlanders codes gives premium currency. The rest are Zenny and early healing items, which help in the first few hours and then stop mattering.

Code Rutacoins against contract prices. The two price sources disagree by 10 Rutacoins per pull.

The price of a pull is disputed. Game8’s launch-day Rutacoins guide says 150 per Featured or Standard Contract; GameSaiyan says 160, but its numbers come from the third closed beta. With every unconfirmed code included you get 24,000 Zenny, and the Rutacoin total doesn’t change.

For scale: the SSR pity of 90 pulls costs 13,500 Rutacoins at 150 each or 14,400 at 160, so the codes cover about 1.4–1.5% of it. Game8 estimates around 450 Rutacoins a week from dailies and weeklies, so a week of logging in is worth more than all codes so far. The 20 Standard Contracts from pre-registration are a bigger head start. If you reroll, redeem the codes on each new account before pulling; that one extra pull is a small but free edge. Check the tier list first so you know who you’re pulling for.

Where new MHO codes come from

New Monster Hunter Outlanders codes have so far arrived around official announcements. GameSaiyan says mho1029 was released during Adventurers’ Digest Vol. 3 and added it on October 28. mhogohunt appeared on Game8 within hours of the 22:00 UTC global launch on October 28. The name famitsumho2026 suggests a tie-in with the Japanese magazine Famitsu, but no outlet has confirmed where it came from.

Timeline of Monster Hunter Outlanders code drops: the Buddy Squad event opens on October 15 without a code, mho1029 arrives on October 28 with Adventurers' Digest Vol. 3, the game launches globally at 22:00 UTC on October 28, mhogohunt is listed the same day, famitsumho2026 is listed on October 29 by one source, and the Midori banner and Buddy Squad event end on November 29 and 30.Oct 15Buddy Squad eventopens (no code)Oct 28mho1029 fromAdventurers' Digest 3Oct 28, 22:00 UTCGlobal launchOct 28mhogohunt listedOct 29famitsumho2026listed, unconfirmedNov 29–30Midori banner andBuddy event endcode droplaunchevent, no code

Not every reward is a code. The pre-registration and social media milestones (Raya, Standard Contracts, Zenny, Aqua Dew) are mailed automatically, and the Buddy Squad event that runs to November 30 is claimed through its event page. Gacha games of this type usually hand out more codes at download milestones, livestreams, collabs and holidays, but Outlanders hasn’t announced a schedule. Fresh codes are posted first on the official X account (@MHO_English), the official Discord, Facebook and YouTube.

How we decide a code is working

We don’t test Monster Hunter Outlanders codes on a live account, so status comes from cross-checking. A code is marked Working once two independent trackers list it as active. Sister sites from the same publisher count once: Destructoid and Twinfinite are both GAMURS outlets and list famitsumho2026 with identical wording, so it stays Unconfirmed until Game8, mhoutlanders.wiki or another site adds it.

Bar chart of independent tracker listings per code: mho1029 5, mhogohunt 4, famitsumho2026 1. A line at two listings marks the threshold for a code to count as working.mho10295mhogohunt4famitsumho202612 listings = working

Sources also disagreed in the first hours. Pro Game Guides said on October 28 that there were no active codes, and Twinfinite’s page still says codes can’t be redeemed yet, both written before launch. Game8 first listed one code, then two. This page was last re-checked on Oct 29, 2026. For other launch questions, see the beginner guide, the weapon picker or how to play on PC.

Monster Hunter Outlanders codes FAQ

How do I redeem codes in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Reach Adventure Rank 5, open the Event Center at the top of the screen, go to the CDKey Redemption tab, enter the code and confirm. Rewards arrive in your in-game mailbox.

Why can't I find where to redeem codes?

The Event Center, and code redemption with it, only unlocks at Adventure Rank 5. Until then the menu is not there, so keep playing the opening story. There is no web redemption page documented so far.

Why is my Monster Hunter Outlanders code not working?

Check five things: you are Adventure Rank 5 or higher, the code is typed exactly (lowercase, no spaces), it was issued for your region (Garena and Level Infinite run separate versions), you have not redeemed it on this account already, and it has not expired.

Are Monster Hunter Outlanders codes case sensitive?

Nobody has confirmed it. Every tracker lists the codes in lowercase, but one GameSaiyan guide writes MHO1029 in capitals. Use lowercase first and try capitals only if it fails.

How many pulls are the codes worth?

The confirmed codes give 200 Rutacoins in total. At 150 Rutacoins per contract (Game8) that is 1.33 pulls; at 160 (GameSaiyan, from the closed beta) it is 1.25. So about one pull, plus Zenny and potions.

Where do new MHO codes get posted?

On the official channels first: the @MHO_English account on X, the official Discord, and the game's Facebook and YouTube pages. Guide sites usually pick them up within hours, and this page is re-checked against them.
